At Southern Sugar Spa, we bring waxing to an entire new level. Sugaring is a gentler method of hair removal in which the sugar paste is applied to the desired area, and essentially removes hair without attaching to the skin. The paste can be applied just above room temperature, eliminating the risk of burns. For this reason (among many others!), sugaring is generally preferred over waxing when it comes to removing hair from sensitive areas of the skin. Sugar paste is 100% natural and only contains 3 ingredients: Water, sugar, and lemon. No toxic chemicals or resins that are often irritating to skin!

Sugar can often remove hair 1/8 - 1/16 of an inch long- Though this may vary depending on individual and hair type, and it is always still recommended to allow hair to grow to 1/4 after shaving because many people will have alternating hair growth patterns.
